Marangu Route

Description

The Marangu Route is the oldest and most established on Mount Kilimanjaro. It features permanent huts for sleeping, dining halls, and basic washrooms, making it a good choice during the rainy season. This route is also known as the “Coca-Cola” route and is popular due to its direct path and gradual slope. Unlike other routes, the ascent and descent follow the same path. It typically takes a minimum of 5 days, with a 6-day option for better acclimatization.
