Description & Routing
Walking safaris are an intimate way to experience nature. You will be exploring the wild terrain from one camp to the next, often spending a starry, refreshing night in each camp to regain your energy from exploring some of the wildest floors of Africa on foot.
An armed ranger will guide you through the wilderness to protect you from the animals that live freely in their natural habitat; they are professionals and your safety and experience of wild Africa is their priority.
Because the journey’s unpredictability, it’s difficult to give exact timings of how long your exploration and sightings will be; your experience entirely depends on nature’s turn of events for the day! Your guide will be able to approximate the time spent on the ground and to your next camp destination. He will also advise on pace and direction.
Our experts consist of an armed ranger, a guide, a chef, a driver and a tent boy; this group is tailored to the size of the group arriving for a tour. You are not required to carry anything other than a small backpack that can carry a few personal items and water for the journey. Snacks and refills will be provided in the morning after breakfast before we venture into the wilderness, all prepared by our chef. Our chef will also prepare three-course gourmet meals throughout your trip.
