The Great Migration in the Ndutu Area awaits. At around December-March the great Migration grazes in short grass plains of the southern Serengeti and Ndutu in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This 8-days Ndutu Migration itinerary aims to show case all of the four most premium safari destinations in Africa and most important the spectacular great migration.
Experience this fascinating event, when millions of animals, among others wildebeests and zebras, yearly follow the rain by having a constant endless cycle around Mara and Serengeti ecosystem. A remarkable experience which is considered to be one of ‘The 7 wonders of The Natural World 2021’.
This package is suitable for the period of December-March. Venture into the wilderness with us in quest of this spectacular event and the predators that get attracted by massive numbers of game.
This safari consists of two nights in the Ndutu area of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and also taking you to the largest intact volcanic crater, The Ngorongoro Crater, while not missing out in the other famous national parks of the Tanzanian famous Northern Safari Circuit, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and the great Serengeti National Park.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Depart for Tarangire National Park at 08.00am from Arusha with packed lunch, approximately 2 hours from Arusha to Tarangire gate.
After your guide clears with the permits you will be introduced to an armed ranger, ready to begin your walking safari in the amazing Tarangire national park (1.5-2 hours), return to your vehicle and later proceed with game drives. Exit the park later in the late afternoon and drive to Endoro Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park approximately 45 minute drive with packed lunch, upon clearance with the permits your guide will drive you through the forest of this pristine park for extensive game drives almost to the edge of the park, here you will witness a remarkable sight, real hot springs. Continue with game drives along the lake and exit the park in the late afternoon to drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Endoro Lodge.

Day 3: Karatu – Ndutu Area
After breakfast we will depart for the Ndutu Area, which is the northwestern part of Ngorongoro Conservation Area in quest of the great migration. Here you will witness the sheer number of Wildebeest among other herbivores, alkaline lakes which attracts flamingos. Proceed with game drives and later in the afternoon depart for dinner and overnight at Ang’ata Migration Camp.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Ndutu Area
Witness the early morning mist rise on the banks of Lake Ndutu. After an early breakfast venture into the Ndutu Area with packed lunch for full day game drives. Your guide will find a pristine location for lunch and proceed with game drives. Later in the afternoon depart to camp for dinner and overnight.

- Overnight at Ang’ata Migration Camp.
Day 5: Ndutu Area – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park with packed lunch, approximately 1.0 hour drive from Ang’ata Migration Camp to the gate of Serengeti.
Arrive Naabi hill gate in time for lunch, thereafter your guide will clear out with the permits. Proceed with en route game drives to the heart of Serengeti, Seronera renowned for its abundance of resident wildlife. Continue with game drives until later in the late afternoon you will depart for Tukaone Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast venture into the wilderness of the Serengeti for full day game drives or return to camp for hot lunch and a siesta before departing for game drives when the afternoon sun is cooler. These options can be discussed with your guide.

Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After an early breakfast venture into the wilderness of the Serengeti National Park for early morning game drives with packed lunch. Continue with game drives until noon hours and depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, en route game drives in the Conservation area arriving in time for an evening Ngorongoro Crater scenery walk. Your guide will introduce you to an armed ranger ready to explore the wilderness free from the confinements of your car. Thereafter he will pick you and drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge.

Day 8: The Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast descend down the world’s largest unbroken crater for extensive game drives, later in the afternoon ascend and drive to Arusha, Moshi or drop off at the Airport for a late flight.
