Best Time for motorbike adventures?

The best time for motorbike adventures in Tanzania is during the dry season, which runs from June to October. During this time, the weather is cooler and drier, making it easier to ride for longer periods. The dry season also offers the best wildlife viewing opportunities, as the animals congregate around water sources. However, visitors can still enjoy motorbike adventures during the green season, which runs from November to May, November to mid March being most preferable with occasional showers between Mid November – Mid December. The wet season is expected from late March – mid May.

During Mid November – Mid December and Mid March – Mid May the trails can be challenging due to the rain.

• Lake Natron: Lake Natron sits at the lowest point of the rift valley at 600 meters above sea level – and is probably the world’s most alkaline body of water. It offers one of the most theatrical scenery in Tanzania, and a motorbike tour here is very worth it.
• Indian Ocean: After couple of days roughing it, it can’t get better than getting to the indian ocean beach, feel the space and unwind without much need to look beyond what nature is generously offering.
